113 people from 14 groups receive expedition permit

Kathmandu: As of Wednesday, 14 groups have taken permission to climb various mountains, including Mount Everest for the spring season. According to the Department of Tourism, 113 climbers from 14 groups have taken permission during the period. Of them, 34 are women.
According to the department, climbing permits have been issued for Mt Everest, Nuptse, Manaslu, Annapurna, Lhotse, Tukuche and Dhaulagiri mountains so far.
According to the department, only 46 people from four groups have taken permission to climb Mt. Everest. After Everest, permission has been issued for 34 people in Annapurna. The group to climb Mt. Everest also includes two teams of 16 people, including the Prince of Bahrain. The team has left for Lukla today to climb Mt. Everest. Icefall doctors are paving the way in the Everest region.
So far, the department has collected a royalty of Rs 70.8 million from the climbing permit alone. Spring is usually the season when the most royalties come from climbing.
