Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 1,066 people in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infection has been confirmed in 1,066 people by testing samples of 13,368 people including PCR and antigen.
Similarly, 938 people have been cured in the last 24 hours and the number of those who have been recovered with corona has reached 766,696.
In the same period, 11,148 people have lost their lives due to corona infection, including 13 more added today.
At present, out of 18,115 active infected people in Nepal, 354 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 116 in ventilator.
Meanwhile, 217,391 people have been vaccinated against corona in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health, the number of people getting the first dose of corona vaccine in Nepal has reached 6.3 million and the number of people getting one dose has reached 7.631 million.
