10 Nepalis killed in Israeli attack

Kathmandu: It has been confirmed that at least 10 Nepalis have died in the attack by the Palestinian radical group Hamas on Israel.

Hamas launched a major attack on Israel on Saturday, the day after the start of the Yom Kippur war 50 years ago (October 6).
Nepali embassy to Israel has confirmed the number of death.

According to the information given to Parliament by Foreign Minister NP Saud on Sunday morning only, 4,500 Nepalis are working as care givers in Israel.

265 students went under the ‘Learn and Earn’ program of the Israeli government. Out of which 119 people went from Agricultural University, 97 from Tribhuvan University and 49 from Sudurpaschim University.

Foreign Minister Saud said that 17 of them were attacked in Kibbutz Alumim in southern Israel near the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has instructed the Nepali Embassy to rescue the Nepali citizen as soon as possible.
