Kathmandu: The United States has advised its citizens not to visit Nepal. Issuing a travel advisory today, the US has stated that Nepal has been placed on the riskier countries recommending its citizen not to visit as the number of Corona virus (Covid-19) infections is on the rise.
Nepal has already closed all international flights. Thus, the US Embassy in Nepal has proposed to the government to take its citizens in Nepal to the US with the help of a chartered flight.
However, Nepal government is yet to respond on the proposal.
The embassy has asked people who have not previously registered to return home to register. The embassy said it would provide information to US citizens once the government gives permission. for evacuation flight.
