Kathmandu: The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) has pointed out that all the 11 universities in the country have not been able to give priority to study and research.

According to the 58th Annual Report of the Office, the universities have not conducted research to develop new knowledge, technology, and skills to contribute to the progress and prosperity of the nation.

The OAG has suggested that universities should focus on academic programs as well as study and research.
