Two NCP chairman should have another dialogue: Narayan Kaji Shrestha

Kathmandu: Spokesperson of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ should once again have a dialogue with another Chairman KP Oli to prevent the party from splitting.
Speaking to media at his residence on Monday morning, Spokesperson Shrestha said that Chairman Prachanda should take the initiative for dialogue to maintain unity by ending the differences within the party.
On Sunday, Chairman Prachanda briefed the meeting with Oli, who is also the Prime Minister, and suggested that they should hold another dialogue to save the party unity in any case. Spokesperson Shrestha said that unity should be maintained to spread the political transformation of Nepal in the socio-economic sector, to lay the foundation for a prosperous Nepal with social justice and to reach socialism.
The party has been united with the objective of expanding Nepal’s political transformation in the socio-economic field, socio-economic transformation, building a prosperous Nepal with social justice, laying the foundation for socialism and finally moving towards socialism. “We must take the initiative to protect party unity,” he said.
He also clarified that the statement made by Prime Minister Oli in various media regarding party split is not true. He said that it was true that Chairman Oli had offered to separate after consulting Chairman Prachanda, saying that he would not attend any meeting of the party’s committee.
Spokesperson Shrestha said that all the leaders and cadres should take initiative to prevent the party from failing as the party unity was achieved through hard work and keeping the revolutionary objective at the center. He also said that the party unity would be saved if the party was run in a methodical manner to maintain party unity and the party’s decision was implemented by all.
He stressed on the need for all to abide by the party’s decision as no formal ideological debate has started within the party. He also said that the party unity will be strengthened if all the people follow their own decisions and implement them.
