Tri-Nation Cup Final Today; Nepal and Bangladesh playing for title

Kathmandu: Nepal is playing against Bangladesh today for the tri-national football title.
Nepal last lost a two-match series 1-0 when they visited Bangladesh in November. At that time, Nepal lost 2-0 in the first match against Bangladesh and played a goalless draw in the second match.

Nepal has not been able to score in 8 games including those two games and two games of the group stage of the tri-nation.

After Anjan Bista scored two goals against Chinese Taipei in the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, Nepal could not score against Australia, Jordan and Kuwait in the World Cup qualifiers. Similarly, he could not score a goal in a friendly match against Myanmar.

Though the match against Kyrgyzstan Olympic team did not get international recognition, Nepal’s senior team played in it. It has been 748 minutes since Nepal failed to score.

Nepal, who played a goalless draw against Bangladesh in the group stage, will also be planning to avenge their loss to Bangladesh in Dhaka in November at Dasharath Stadium.

On the one hand, Nepal has a chance to win the game by scoring a goal and win the title and take revenge on Bangladesh. On the other hand, Nepal has the challenge to score goals and win the game.
