Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to vaccinate against coronavirus on Sunday.
Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population Laxman Aryal informed that Prime Minister Oli will start the second phase of vaccination campaign by vaccinating against corona. Aryal said that Prime Minister Oli would administer the vaccine at the TRI Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj at 10 am on Sunday. Officials of the constitutional bodies will also be vaccinated from tomorrow.
The second phase of the vaccination campaign is starting from more than 6,000 vaccination centers from Sunday.
At this stage, 1.6 million people over the age of 65 are planned to be vaccinated. Secretary Aryal informed that 55-year-olds from 15 Himalayan districts will also be vaccinated from Sunday.
