PM Oli to inaugurate country’s largest industrial park

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left for Jhapa. Prime Minister Oli left for his home district of Jhapa at 10 am today to lay the foundation stone of the Nepal-China Industrial Park.

The Nepal China Friendly Industrial Park to be constructed at the confluence of Damak Municipality, Kamal Village Municipality and Gauradaha Municipality is the largest of the six industrial zones to be established by the government.

This industrial area falls under Prime Minister Oli’s constituency. The construction of the park, which is being constructed by acquiring 1,300 bighas of private land, is estimated to cost Rs 64 billion. Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return to Kathmandu today.
