Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday inspected the 900 MW Arun III Hydropower Project under construction at Makalu Gaonpalika-5, Faxinda in Sankhuwasabha.
Prime Minister Oli has been informed by the head of the project that 40 percent of the work of the project has been completed so far. The project was jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister Oli and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 11, 2018.
Prime Minister Oli had earlier monitored the progress of road infrastructure development in Kimathanka, which is connected to China.
