Oli claims that it was not Kulman Ghising but himself who remove load shedding

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed that it was not Kulman Ghising but himself who did the work of freeing the country from load shedding. He said that he has removed the load shedding by signing a power purchase agreement with India.

Speaking at a national gathering of industrialists and businessmen in Kathmandu on Monday, Prime Minister Oli said, “I have agreed to bring electricity from India, regardless of who tried to take it.”

Oli said he had worked to buy electricity from India, increase production within the country and improve transmission lines.

He is also the chairman of the CPN-Oli faction.

He claims that 90 percent of the people of Nepal are using electricity.

Earlier, Chief Minister of Lumbini province Shankar Pokharel and Energy Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi had also said that Kulman Ghising had not contributed to the country’s load shedding.
