Number of covid-19 infection exceeded 200,000 in Nepal

Kathmandu: The number of people infected with Corona virus (Covid-19) in Nepal has exceeded 200,000. In the last 24 hours, 2,569 people have been confirmed infected and the total number of infected people has reached 202,329.

Of them, 1,174 died, according to the Ministry of Health and Population 162,243 people have got recovered so far.

There are 38,912 active infected people across the country. Of them, 28,393 are in home isolation, 382 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 95 in ventilator.

According to the ministry, 1,261 infected people have been added in the Kathmandu Valley, of which 976 are from Kathmandu, 204 from Lalitpur and 81 from Bhaktapur.

A total of 168 from Morang, 130 from Kaski, 118 from Sunsari, 105 from Dang, 98/98 from Jhapa and Dhanusha, 73 from Rupandehi, 73 from Kavre, 55 from Nuwakot, 41 from Makwanpur, 37 from Palpa, 29 from Kailali, 22 from Baglung, 22 from Arghakhanchi, 20 from Panchthar and 20 from Panchthar. Corona infection has been confirmed in 18/18 people, 17/17 people from Udaipur, Gorkha, Banke, 16/16 people from Siraha and Parbat, 15/15 people from Chitwan and Dolakha, 14 people from Nawalparasi, 12 people from Saptari and 10 people from Bardiya.

Similarly, 9/9 from Dhading, Ramechhap and Rolpa, 8/8 from Sankhuwasabha, Gulmi and Kanchanpur, 7/7 from Rautahat and Salyan, 6/6 from Bara, Dailekh and Doti, Taplejung, Parsa, Sarlahi, Sindhuli, Nawalpur, Syangja. 5/5 from Pyuthan, 4/4 from Ilam, Mahottari, Kapilvastu and Jumla, 3/3 from Bhojpur, Solukhumbu and Rasuwa, 2/2 from Kalikot, Jajarkot, Surkhet and Dadeldhura and 1 from Khotang, Dhankuta, Lamjung, Dolpa and Darchula have been infected.
