Kathmandu: Of the 20,000 oxygen cylinders donated by China, 2,000 cylinders will be brought to Nepal in the first consignment. Discussions have started about sending a widebody aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation to bring the cylinders.
The national flag carrier has submitted a ‘quotation’ as per the demand of the Ministry of Finance. A airline has stated that no agreement has been reached on the fare of the aircraft so far and discussions are underway.
The aircraft will bring cylinders from Beijing. Only Nepal Airlines has an aircraft that can carry cylinders in this capacity.
