Meeting of top leaders of ruling party begins in Baluwatar

Kathmandu. The meeting of the top leaders of the ruling coalition has started at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

The meeting is attended by Nepali Congress President Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-Maoist Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav, CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and Rashtriya Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC.

A leader informed that the issues of cabinet expansion, a minimum common program of the coalition government, and other issues were discussed in the meeting.

The cabinet has not been expanded even after more than a week of government formation and a vote of confidence by the prime minister.
