Kathmandu: A meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPN (Maoist Center) is being held on Monday.

A meeting has been convened at the party’s central office in Parisdanda at 1 pm to discuss current political issues. According to the party, contemporary politics and the party’s future plans will be discussed in the meeting. The meeting has been said to discuss the withdrawal of support to the government and efforts to balance the new government.

After the Supreme Court dissolved the unity process of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and revived the Maoist center, Chairman Prachanda is trying to change the government led by CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

However, the Maoists have not been able to withdraw support from the government as the formation of a new government has not been equated. Opposition leaders have been criticizing the Maoists for failing to form a new government without withdrawing support.
