Investigation committee formed to check the quality of PCR report

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has formed an investigation committee after the flight of Nepal Airlines Corporation was stopped due to the problem seen in the PCR report of some passengers.

The Health Emergency and Disaster Management Unit of the Ministry has formed a three-member investigation committee under the coordination of Dr. Mukund Sharma. In the committee, Dr. Amrit Pokharel and Balram Gautam are members.

The government is investigating after the corona was tested by some hospitals and private laboratories in Kathmandu and the passengers who flew abroad were tested again.

Due to this problem, flights to some countries including Hong Kong and UAE have been suspended and now Nepal Airlines has decided to allow flights only to those who have been tested in government laboratories.
