Influential media support for Trump’s rival Biden

Kathmandu: Some of the world’s most influential newspapers and magazines have openly backed Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. On the eve of the election, The Economist, a popular London-based magazine, published an article in support of President Donald Trump’s rival Joe Biden, explaining why Biden should be emphasized on the cover of the magazine.

The world’s most influential economist favors economic liberalism and the open market economy. The magazine has been supporting one candidate in the US election since 1980.In 2016, the magazine backed Hillary Clinton. The newspaper said, “Biden is not magic, and winning the election will increase the prestige of the White House.”Another influential newspaper, the New York Times, has already written an editorial in support of Biden. That newspaper is also considered to be an influential newspaper all over the world.

Supporting Biden, the newspaper said Biden would restore the spirit of the United States.
