Govt urged to avoid crowds after increase in corona infection in India

Kathmandu: As the number of coronavirus cases in India has increased, the government has urged to increase health security vigilance in Nepal as well.

The Ministry of Health and Population issued a statement on Sunday urging people to be alert as coronavirus infections are on the rise in India and in Nepal too.

The ministry has urged not to hold meetings, conferences, processions, rallies, gatherings, seminars, meetings, crowded business activities as the transition could increase even in Nepal. Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam has issued a press release urging to follow social / physical distance, mandatory use of masks and proper hand washing with soap and water, use of sanitizer and other public health standards.

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 43,846 people in India in the last 24 hours.
