Govt shortlisted 78 hotels for quarantine

Kathmandu: The government has listed 78 hotels, including five 5-star hotels, as quarantine hotels.

The Department of Tourism has public the list of hotels where the passengers traveling from abroad can be quarantined to prevent the corona infection.

According to the department, hotels with at least 20 rooms have been designated for hotel quarantine. The government has made a rule to allow Nepali and foreign nationals to return to Nepal only after showing proof of hotel booking for five days and other conditions for 10 days.

Passengers will be able to book hotels listed by the department for quarantine. The department has already added 68 more out of the 10 hotels designated to accommodate passengers from India and has made public the names of 78 hotels as quarantine hotels.

Currently, Nepal has opened regular flights to Turkey, Qatar, China and India in the first phase.
