Kathmandu: The government has added details of 82 people who lost their lives due to corona virus infection. The government added details of 618 people on Wednesday and 82 people on Thursday.
The details of the deceased have been added after analyzing the data from various hospitals, municipalities and other responsible bodies, as stated by the Ministry of Health and Population. The ministry has stated that since Wednesday, the statistics have been analyzed and various ‘cases’ of one year have been studied completely.
The ministry estimates the death toll from the corona outbreak could be much higher. The death toll has risen to 2,767 in the last 24 hours.
Similarly, PCR tests of 3411 people in the last 24 hours have confirmed corona infection in another 112 people. The infection has been confirmed in 273,872 people in Nepal so far.
Similarly, with the recovery of 84 more people, the number of those free from infection has reached 270,223.
