Govt extends prohibitory order in valley relaxing some rules

Kathmandu: In the Kathmandu Valley, the prohibitory order has been extended for one week, but most services have been allowed to resume. Chief District Officers of the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley have informed that prohibitory order will be maintained till July 5.

The government has already decided to open domestic flights from July 1, but after Monday’s decision, public transport will also be able to operate in the forced system from Tuesday by maintaining social distance and following health precautions.

However, only public transport vehicles with a capacity of more than 25 seats operating in the Kathmandu Valley will be allowed to operate in a forced system. The order states that the vehicles will be allowed to operate from 6 am to 7 pm.
