Government to give Rs 400,000 each to winner of tri-nations cup

Kathmandu: The government has decided to give Rs 400,000 each to the winners of the tri-national cup football.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Kumar Gyawali informed that the cabinet meeting held on Friday decided to give Rs 400,000 to each player of Nepali team played in tri-nations cup.

In the final match played at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor on Monday, Nepal defeated Bangladesh 2-1 to win the tri-national cup football title.

Sanjog Rai and Bishal Rai scored for Nepal.
