Kathmandu: Another 196 people have died of corona infection in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona infection in Nepal has reached 5,411, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 8,203 people across the country in the last 24 hours. A PCR test of 20,286 samples showed an infection of 8,136 people and an antigen test of 693 samples showed a corona virus infection in 67 people.
The total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 472,354. Of them, 352,414 have been cured in the last 24 hours, including 6,891.
Currently, the number of active infected people across the country is 114,529. Of them, 107,082 are in home isolation and 7,447 are in institutional isolation. Similarly, 1,590 people are undergoing treatment in ICU and 390 in ventilator, according to the ministry.
Of the 2,635 infected people added in the last 24 hours, are from Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 2,049 are from Kathmandu, 365 from Lalitpur and 221 from Bhaktapur.
