Kathmandu: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has held discussions with leaders close to him before the meeting.

This morning, Deuba had a discussion with central members close to him at his residence in Budhanilkantha.

Deuba’s talks with leaders focused on the Supreme Court’s restoration of the House of Representatives and changing political developments.

NCP’s Dahal-Nepal faction met Deuba on Wednesday and offered cooperation. Deuba had said that he would discuss the matter with the party.

Deuba said that although there are two groups in the NCP with the leaders close to him, the NCP is still legally strong.

Deuba also said that both the NCP groups have been making various proposals. He said that the Congress should pay attention to what the two groups of the NCP are doing now that the Supreme Court has reconstituted the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
