Dead bodies of Nepali migrants stranded in Malaysia due to flight ban

Kathmandu: The bodies of 35 Nepalis have been stranded in Malaysia due to the restrictions on international flights.

According to Nepal Embassy in Malaysia, the bodies of about 35 Nepalis have been stranded in Malaysia alone within a month of the government shutting down international flights to prevent corona infection.

According to the embassy, the number of Nepalis trying to return to Nepal after completing their home contracts and visas is also increasing.

Sixty-five Nepalis have been jailed in Malaysia for various reasons and are waiting for the day to return home.

Unlike last year, there is no situation of loss of employment in Malaysia. The company is arranging food and accommodation for those who are preparing to return home even after the contract expires.
