The PCR test of 22,353 samples confirmed the infection in 8,407 people and the antigen test of 873 people confirmed the infection in 206,087 people. At the same time, the number of confirmed corona infections in Nepal has reached 497,052.
Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 7,890 people have been cured and the number of those free from infection has reached 37,836. At present, 116,192 people are actively infected in Nepal.
The number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in Nepal has exceeded 6,000. The death toll has risen to 6,024, including 177 in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
