Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 2,714 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 9,122 PCR tests confirmed the infection in 1,855 people and 3,707 antigen tests confirmed infection in 859 people.
Twenty-four people have died due to the infection and 1,288 have been recovered from the infection.
With the addition on Thursday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 674,726. Of them, 9,661 people have died and 637,690 have been recovered from covid.
According to the ministry, the number of actively infected people across the country is 27,375. Out of which 24,616 are in home isolation and 2,759 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 635 are being treated in the ICU and 172 in the ventilator.
