Kathmandu: Corona infection has been confirmed in 2,401 people in the last 24 hours. Similarly, 34 people have died and 3,660 have recovered from the corona infection.
The total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 645,209. Of them, 553,352 have been infected and 8,675 have died so far.
Currently, the number of active infected people in the country is 57,618. Out of which 53,733 are in home isolation and 3,885 are in institutional isolation. According to the ministry, 874 people are currently undergoing treatment in ICU and 258 in ventilator.
Of the newly infected, 337 are from Kathmandu Valley. Similarly, 225 people have been infected in the Baglung district on Saturday. 130 people have been infected in Morang, 110 in Sunsari and 104 in Jhapa.
