Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 834 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 730 people tested positive on 8,589 PCR tests 104 tested positive for 5,147 antigen tests.
Similarly, in the last 24 hours, nine people have died from corona infection while 1,279 have been cured.
With the addition on Sunday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 791,392. At the same time, the death toll in Nepal has reached 11,096 and 761,154 people have been recovered of infections.
According to the ministry, there are currently 19,142 active infected people across the country. Out of which 17,813 are in home isolation and 1,329 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 368 are being treated in the ICU and 120 in the ventilator.
