Kathmandu: Corona infections have been confirmed in 2,977 people in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 18 people have died due to corona infection and 1,678 have been cured.
With the addition on Friday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 676,708. Of them, 9,679 have died and 6,39,368 have been recovered.
According to the ministry, there are currently 27,661 active infected people across the country. Out of which 24,983 are in home isolation and 2,678 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 682 are being treated in the ICU and 175 in the ventilator.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infection has been confirmed in 56 children under the age of 10 and in 272 people in the age group of 11 to 20 years.
