Kathmandu: The Corona Care Team (CCT) has been formed to facilitate journalists in solving the problem caused by coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
A meeting of the Press Association of Nepal Pratishthan Pradesh on Sunday formed a five-member CCT under the coordination of Pratishthan Pradesh co-coordinator Raghunath Bajagain. CCT has been given the responsibility to collect information and details of infected journalists, understand the problems faced by the infected and coordinate with the Federation of Nepali Journalists for solutions.
According to the Press Association of Nepal, the CCT will also help in resolving the problems of journalists who have problems due to corona, lack of oxygen in the hospital, problems in earning a living due to lack of salary in the workplace.
The meeting also urged the journalists to be alert while working, not affect the psychologically affected patients and their relatives and to adopt safety measures.
