Kathmandu: Nepali Congress central member Gagan Thapa has said that he is confident that the parliament will give a way out to the country.

He said that the Congress would remain in the opposition role as the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) had been given the responsibility of running the government for five years.

He also said that the communists have not been able to run the government for five years, said Thapa while addressing a public meeting in Bardibas, Mahottari on Thursday.

Leader Thapa said that important time of the country was wasted due to the greed of the NCP leaders. He said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been working against the constitution from the very beginning but the leaders of those parties who did not say anything have started protesting now as their greed has not been satisfied.

He said that Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal did not speak while the Prime Minister was working against the constitution one after the other. He said, “Some people are greedy to be the prime minister, some people are greedy to be the president of the Communist Party, some people are greedy to be a minister like a worm.”
