Chinese workers back to work at Pokhara airport

Kathmandu: Chinese workers have come to Nepal for the construction of Pokhara International Airport (PIA) after being vaccinated against corona.

Fifty-two Chinese workers arrived in Nepal on Sunday after being vaccinated in China for the construction of Pokhara International Airport.

In China, its citizens are allowed to leave the country only after completing a month’s rest period after being vaccinated against corona. Chinese workers have come to Nepal after fulfilling government provisions.

They have entered Nepal wearing PPE masks and paying high security precautions until they reach the workplace. Thus, with the entry of Nepal from China with security precautions, the way has been opened to come to Nepal with corona vaccine from other countries as well.

This time, 52 workers who have been vaccinated against corona have come to Nepal from China. More workers are yet to come for the construction to PIA.

Completion deadline of the PIA is July, 2021.
