China to provide additional 300,000 doses of vaccine to Nepal

Kathmandu: China has increased the number of Covid-19 vaccines given to Nepal to 800,000 doses.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanchi said in a tweet on Monday evening that China has decided to give 800,000 doses of vaccine to Nepal as a grant.

Initially, China announced 300,000 doses, but later increased it to 500,000. Since then, China has announced an additional 300,000 doses of the vaccine.

The Chinese vaccine has already been approved for emergency use in Nepal.
