Bagmati province CM Poudel calls for all-party meeting

Kathmandu: Bagmati Province Chief Minister Dormani Poudel has called an all-party meeting.

Chief Minister Poudel has called an all-party meeting to discuss to conduct provincial assembly meeting, which is being postponed due to the opposition’s obstruction, next year’s policy and program, and control of corona infection.

The opposition Maoist center has been obstructing the meeting of the province assembly. Opposition lawmakers have been demanding that the Madan Bhandari Foundation and the province government provide Rs five million for the purchase of electric buses. The Congress and the Bibeksheel Party, including the Maoist Center, have expressed support to the demand.

Similarly, the government is under intense pressure to take precautionary measures as more than 300 new cases of corona are being added daily in Bagmati province.

The meeting is being held at Jawalakhel today.
