Agreement between airline operators and TIA to reduce domestic flights

Kathmandu: An agreement has been reached between Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and the Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) to reduce the number of domestic flights.TIA has said that it has been agreed to operate domestic flights at 20-minute intervals from Monday. According to TIA, there will be three domestic flights per hour from Monday. As the demand for domestic flights has decreased recently, the number of flights of various airlines including Buddha, Yeti, Shree and Summit has been gradually declining.
