Kathmandu: Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 8,850 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 18,787 PCR tests were conducted on 8,777 people and 506 antigen tests were performed on 73 people, confirming 8,850 people covid-19 positive.
In the last 24 hours, 52 people have died due to corona virus infection, according to the ministry. However, there were 26 deaths due to corona infection on different dates but not included in the official figures. Jageshwar Gautam said.
On Sunday, 88,160 people are actively infected across the country. Out of which 81,430 are in home isolation and 6,730 are in institutional isolation.
