Kathmandu: The number of active cases of corona virus in Nepal has exceeded 30,000.
According to Dr. Sameer Kumar Adhikari, Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of active infections has reached 30,902 in the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, PCR tests of 13,879 people, 4,774 antigens of 9,055 people and corona infection of 123 people have been confirmed.
Of those confirmed infected today, 2,047 are from the Kathmandu Valley. Today, 1,464 people in Kathmandu, 232 in Bhaktapur and 351 in Lalitpur have contracted corona. At the same time, the total number of infected people in Nepal has reached 312,699.
According to the Ministry of Health, 773 people have recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 17 people including 10 have died due to the infection. So far, 3211 people have lost their lives due to corona infection in Nepal.
