Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 3,611 people in the last 24 hours while 27 people have died of corona infection. Similarly, 1,816 people have recovered from the corona infection.
With the addition of Friday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 693,109. Of them, 9,834 have died and 652,261 have been recovered from infections.
According to the ministry, there are currently 31,014 active infections in the country. Out of which 27,820 are in home isolation and 3,194 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 686 are being treated in the ICU and 161 in the ventilator.
According to the ministry, 76 children under the age of 10 have been infected with corona, while 206 people in the age group of 11 to 20 have been infected with corona.
