Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 2,297 people have been confirmed infected with the corona virus.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the PCR test on 6,583 people confirmed the infection in 1,584 and the antigen test in 4,321 people confirmed the infection in 713 people.
In the last 24 hours, 46 people have died and 3,130 have been cured from the corona virus. Currently, the number of actively infected patients are 53,940.
In the last 24 hours, more corona infections have been seen in Baglung than in Kathmandu.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infection has been confirmed in 305 people in Baglung and 285 people in Kathmandu on Monday. Earlier, 222 people were infected with corona in Baglung on Sunday.
