150,000 people vaccinated against corona in Sudurpaschim province

Kathmandu: As many as 150,000 million people have been vaccinated against the corona virus in nine districts of the far-western region.

According to the Provincial Ministry of Social Development, 149,571 people have been vaccinated against the corona virus in January and February.

The highest number of 40,301 people in Kailali have been vaccinated against corona, according to the ministry. In Bajura, at least 8,195 people have been vaccinated.

Similarly, 24,864 people in Kanchanpur, 13,805 in Achham, 14,096 in Baitadi, 13,735 in Bajhang, 10,340 in Dadeldhura, 9,886 in Darchula and 14,357 in Doti have been vaccinated against corona. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Social Development Narendra Karki informed.

The government has so far introduced a program to vaccinate health workers, cleaners, ambulance and hearse drivers, journalists, employees of diplomatic missions, employees of banks and financial institutions, civil servants and senior citizens over 65 years of age against the corona virus.
